Young American anthropologists, studying the cultural characteristics of closed communities, witness the celebration of the summer solstice in a Swedish settlement cut off from civilization. However, they soon begin to realize that underneath the sun festival lies real darkness. In the scene, one of the anthropologists was asked to take part in the ritual of impregnating a local virgin with fresh semen in the presence of naked women from the village who had already given birth.
